Specifically: I hope this blog will become a forum for the discussion of human rights issues that are under investigation by Common Ground Now.
Open discourse (from a wide range of voices and perspectives) is actively encouraged.
We will not censor someone because they write from a different perspective -- though I believe that the tone of the dialogue must be respectful of individuals who are engaged in debate. Strong opinions are natural (and welcome) on these controversial issues -- but libelous personal attacks or incitements to violence are unacceptable.
So: If I encounter an excessively hateful or inflammatory comment, I will exercise my right (as editor) to delete it. The deletion will be acknowledged on the blog, and specific reasons will be given to justify the need for deletion.
